M: What are the reasons you think you cracked the interview?
R: My past work experience and the way I was able to structure my answers to relate to the requirements of the company gave me an edge in the process. Being well-prepared in the dynamics of the industry and then being able to articulate my thoughts well on various topics helped me ace the interviews and bag the offer for the summers.
M: Tell us about your day to day work as an intern at RPG
R: RPG Group has a very focused disposition towards its summer internship program called 'Impressions', so the project that was assigned to me had a lot of importance to the organisation. My typical day involved having a number of meetings with heads of different verticals to understand the business and to collect data. Post data collection, I analysed the data to derive meaningful and actionable insights that the company could use.
M: What did you do right to achieve the PPO from RPG?
R: I broke my project into small weekly milestones that I could work towards. My idea was to go above and beyond what was expected out of me in the summer internship to leave a mark in the organisation. With constant guidance and support ]from my project mentor and buddy, I was able to achieve what I had in mind.
M: What are the most cherishable moments of your internship?
R: The cherry on the cake was being nominated for Arjuna Awards, a platform for showcasing the best internship projects to the top brass of the RPG Group. I was among the top 10 interns across the entire batch of the 'Impressions' internship program. My work was appreciated not only within Zensar Technologies but also at the RPG Group level.
