A fresh hospitality graduate from Delhi, I joined SDA Bocconi Asia Center, with the goal of exploring HR as a career. Little did I know that I would get the opportunity to channel my passion for everything related to food in working on a Live Project in HR.

This opportunity came to me in the form of TWF Flours, the first live project we sourced through our placement committee (Placecom).TWF is a technology-driven flour company, trying to revitalize flours with the traditional nutritional profile.

I was overjoyed to receive my offer letter, expecting a set of tasks that I would follow and gain HR experience. What we got was amazing beyond my expectations. I was given complete autonomy to Interview interns in various roles for TWF. I was in the end-to-end recruitment process of interns and was encouraged to work closely with the co-founders to assist with senior level hires.
It was this immense trust that the TWF Co-founders placed in me that enabled me to enhance my skills at an exponential rate.

My job did not end at Talent Acquisition. I actively worked in a team of three to manage all the HR needs of the other teams working on other functions of the Live Project. This not only gave me the unprecedented chance to work as a people manager, but also understand important concepts like team dynamics and talent management.

The journey did not end here. This was merely the beginning of my journey with TWF. I continued working with them in the next term as a TWF Fellow. My responsibilities grew not only recruiting interns but also full-time employees. This, I realized was a completely different process. The people I interviewed had more experience than the students I had spoken to before. I received questions from them that tested my knowledge and engaged me in a greater capacity.

It is a result of this experience that I have been working with TWF Flours for more than a year. Their constant guidance and mentoring have been integral to my growth as a person and the development of my knowledge base.

Which ABGP Company I want to join and Why?

My experiences in HR and FMCG through my Live Projects and Internship have driven me to pursue a career in HR in the FMCG retail. The Aditya Birla Group will provide me with the right platform to channel the skills I have gained in the past year. Aditya Birla Retail Limited would be the perfect medium for me to utilize my knowledge and skills to add value to the organization to the best of my potential, all the while, growing from the experience and mentoring I gain from my colleagues and seniors at Aditya Birla Retail Ltd.
