I always considered teaching as a great profession. I am always passionate about teaching, here I am welcomed by a different faculty. My father is always a role model in teaching for me. When I came here, I found someone with unique teaching skill, Professor Nikhil Mehta, a faculty in department of Business Communication.

Here I am going to narrate my experience with him in the class. He is such a unique personality. He considered his class as a temple and makes the students to sit on a matt and learn. The story doesn’t end there, he follows the inductive way of teaching rather than deductive learning. So he creates each and every situation in the corporate world practically in the class and makes the students to behave in that situation and learn from those situations in the class, which won’t allow us to forget what we have learned. Learning with practical situations will always remain in our mind.

The log book is my another experience from his class where we will write down our thought processes during each and every activity in the class and we will try to avoid that inner feeling which created negative impact to us for the next activity. He never behaves like a faculty he will understand each and every problem of students and help them to improve.

The next thing which is unique when I sit in that class It looks like an old guru-shishya kind of learning center where everyone will be sitting in mats and guru will be sitting at a lower position comparing to the shishyas which makes us think that he is one among us and will make us more interactive with him and helps us in learning. The learning which I am getting from his class helps in interacting with new people.

I WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH ABG HINDALCO.

Since I am having 2 years and 9 months of experience in the core mechanical sector, I think that will be the best choice for me.

The following points make me think it is true,

Hindalco is

  • Amongst the top 5 aluminum majors worldwide
  • Largest vertically integrated aluminum company
  • World’s largest custom smelter at a single location
  • Among the largest producer of primary aluminum in Asia — 488,000 tpa

Being a mechanical engineer with work experience in the aerospace sector in the design team I always feel, it will be great to work with the ABG Hindalco.
