As my Uber hit the highway, the silhouette of a dome appeared in the distant horizon. Adorned with glittering lights and the drizzle playing around the orange glare, it almost looked surreal. On a moist July evening, I first laid eyes on this place I now call home - Planet I.
The campus is situated on a hillock, so you are surrounded by a gentle wind at all times of the day. The campus is home to a large number of species of flora and fauna and you can go on occasional bird watching. You will look forward to the late night strolls along roads that meander all around the campus. Turn a bend and the city lights unravel themselves in full glory. You can take a respite from your library sojourns looking at the starry sky above and the distant blinking city lights down below. The campus comes alive especially during the monsoon – the lush green meadow in the Academic Block, the sight of the overcast sky merging into the distant mountains – it is almost like an artist painted a perfect picture.
