NITIE has a unique sense of ebullience in it. With the embellish beauty of trees amidst the monsoon of Mumbai, the chirping of birds resonates with the minds of fervent future leaders of the nation. The north people have a sudden alleviation in the quality of the air they consume, which their lungs were yearning for quite a long time. In the absence of cacophony, bang and commotion of Mumbai, it has become a tranquillity in heaven. The light spring rain rides on the wind, down the read, which brings an exhilarating freshness to air, a
smell of earth, a smell of flowers, that brings a smile to the eyes of the student going to class. With the roads steeping upwards and climbing up the 96 stairs is a workout in itself, before those tenacious lectures in the class. Spreading across 65 acres, this lush green campus has a lot to offer. Even Leopards and Snakes could not resist having a glimpse of the Gods own Campus. The evening walks around the ponds, elevates all the trepidation going on in the frontal cortex, and soothes the dry eyes, which could not find a place to rest during those gruesome nights. The thing unique about NITIE is the impression it leaves in the mind, and the enticement it possess, that has a healing and medicinal effect on students. Living a B.School life is not about the studies, it is about the experience. A campus famous for its Operations and Supply chain, with students ranging from several disciplines. All amalgamating together to form a unity, that collaborates through various fests and committees. Right from Avartan, Annual festival celebrating the harmony between Business, Culture, and Sport to B.School competitions like HUL Lime, Nestle’s Plan O Chain. Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?
I want to work for ABG Retail. I had always been passionate about supply chain and analytics. With the advent of big data, it is possible to optimize any process by analyzing their data. Having some hands-on experience on predictive analytics, material management, inventory optimization and productivity improvement in Oil and Gas Sector for Reliance Jamnagar Refinery. I want to optimize the ABG Retail Sector, where I am making business decisions through data analytics. My focus would be on optimizing
inventory, supplier sourcing and distribution network, and using predictive analytics to build business models for better prediction and forecasting.
