NMIMS Mumbai MBA Selection Process 2025-27: Updated Weightage Breakdown

Sr. No. Components Weightage
1 NMAT Score 20%
2 Competency Assessment 50%
3 Personal Interview 10%
4 Work Experience 10% (variable based on months of experience)

The Competency Assessment now holds the highest weightage, making it a crucial component of your application. The interview will be AI-based. The competency test has replaced the WAT/AWT and WATSON Glaser test.

Purpose of the Assessment

The updated format aims to align with industry feedback regarding candidate readiness. It emphasizes practical decision-making and problem-solving abilities rather than merely academic aptitude.

Scoring and Exam Logistics

Marking Scheme

  1. The scoring will be relative, with no clarity on negative marking.
  2. AI and psychometric elements may influence scoring.
  3. Candidate-specific results will not be revealed before interviews.

Logistics

The average interview duration is around 30 minutes, but candidates should allocate 5-6 hours for the entire process due to potential wait times as the engagement for the last in the panel would take this much time. This duration can also be exhaustive. Make sure you are mentally prepared for it.
