Fifteen days back, there I was in a small city in Kerala, weighing all the options I had in choosing a B school and now here I'm at IIM KASHIPUR. The long 2894 Km journey in itself was a wonderful experience. Being a person who appreciates nature, I always had a special feeling in me for Uttarakhand. The long lush green fields along with the soothing countryside wind welcomed me to one of the most beautiful campuses in our country. The red brick structures complimenting the nature's beauty literally gave me a glimpse of the exciting two years ahead.
IIM KASHIPUR encloses itself in a shell of uniqueness. The brand new campus with a full state-of-the-art campus fledging across 200 acres of area is the biggest among all its uniqueness's. The hostels with individual rooms will be a heaven for the students after a long tiring day. The radiant temperature cooling systems will make sure that you are in complete comfort. Then, the next big thing about our campus is our amphitheater. Here lies the pulse of IIM KASHIPUR. The great Indian diversity will contrast to this nutshell to celebrate all our happiness. Be wherever you are from, whatever you are, this is a place where you will enjoy. The infrastructural mastery extends to our classrooms too! The huge classrooms with dual projectors and 3 sets of a green board will make your classroom learning wonderful.
And then, if you are a sports lover, you will never have anything to complain about in the campus. The campus houses all the facilities for cricket, football, lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball. I hope I do get time to use all these facilities.
Next comes the cycling and biker's club of IIM KASHIPUR. These clubs make sure that you explore Uttarakhand with your friends whenever you get time in-between the busy academic calendar. Trips to Nainital, Jim Corbett, Bhimtal, Auli, Almora, Dehradun will be a sure treat!
Above all these uniquenesses, is our academic rigor. Yes, ‘Rigour’ is our culture ! IIM KASHIPUR have one of the toughest course structure for its PGP program among all B-Schools in India. IIM KASHIPUR pushes its students to feel the pressure and get a glimpse of corporate life from day one. Along with this academic rigor, the various clubs and committees will make sure we are packed as tightly as it could get with our schedule. IIM Kashipur currently has 6 academic clubs: Finance club, OnYourMark (Marketing club), Consilium (Consulting Club), Titan (IT club), OSM (Operations and Supply chain Management club), HRythm (HR club), 5 Non academic clubs: Quest(Quiz club), FLCC(Foreign Language and Cultural club), Motion Picture club, Parivartan, Gambit club, 9 Committees: Academic committee, Alumni relations committee, Cultural committee, Mess committee, Infrastructure and IT committee, International relations committee, Sports committee, Media and Public Relations committee, Corporate relations committee and 3 cells: Design cell, Sponsorship cell and E cell.
So all set to make use of the platform IIM KASHIPUR as a KASPian !
