Q1. What makes your campus unique?

A1. FMS is one of the finest B schools in the country and it is a truly unique experience to be a part of that. What makes FMS so unique is the kind of experience that a student goes in the two years of his or her life. The FMS campus is not majestic, Boomerang labs are not there, Sports infrastructure is not there, conference halls are not there and the list goes on and on. What is there is the humbleness, what is there is a culture of excellence and hard work, what is there is the experience of living in flats and PG’s in the congested areas of Delhi and most of all what is there is a sense of unity. Every batch of FMS Delhi wants to progress together. Such a bonding has been fostered by a relatively smaller batch size which helps everyone to get to know everyone around here. We don’t evaluate the time we spent at FMS in the resources that were made available to us but rather in what experience and relationships that we have been able to foster throughout these two years.

Q2) A memorable experience in my B-school

A2. The most memorable experience has to be the few initial days that I had spent at FMS. Our college has this induction program that helps us get accommodated to the culture and values FMS holds up to itself. These 10 rigorous days tests you to your breaking limits. What induction teaches you is discipline and perseverance. Induction is not just about meeting deadlines and completing assignment, it is about learning etiquettes, disciplining your mind, expanding your capacity to work and introspecting and realizing what your potential is.

Q3) Introduce - some of my crazy batchmates

A3. The best part about FMS or really moving to any business school is that you now sit between one of the most intelligent group of people you have had the privilege to meet. I am sure that the friends that I have made at FMS are the ones that are going to stay friends forever 1. Sachin Sharma: This is the first person that I interacted with at FMS. The most demanding and cruel deadline cannot break the witness and humour that this guy carries around. Surely his humour is the self defense mechanism for all the stresses that he would ever face.

2. Sonakshi: During the induction I would sit on the first chair on the 3 rd section in the third row, Sachin would sit on the chair adjacent to me and Sonakshi would sit on the seat next to him. She was the one who would complete all the tasks, meet all the deadlines and make sure that her water bottle was always filled up.

3. Oorja Seth: While working on one of the tasks during induction I met Oorja, who is an extremely talented girl. She has very good dramatic skills which we found out to be quite useful for the tasks that we had to do.

Q4) Which ABG company do you want to work for and why ?

A4. The Aditya Birla Group company that I would like to join would surely be Idea Cellular. During my childhood, it was one of the most recognizable companies that I had in my mind. The ads were extremely impressionable and I still sing the tone in head. Idea cellular is a major player in the Indian Telecom Sector and would go from strength to strength after its merger with Vodafone. It would replace Airtel as the market leader and would become the largest player by market share. I believe that there would be great potential to for me to learn.
