Being a Premier B-school in India, what sets FMS apart is the bond amongst the seniors and juniors. As we have a batch size of 200 odd students, each student at FMS gets an opportunity to know every other student at the campus. The bond developed in unparalleled and evokes peer to peer learning even during canteen breaks. The faculty personally takes interest in each student which makes this the most unique B-school campus in the country.

A memorable classroom experience in my B-school

My most memorable classroom experience in 15 days at FMS has been our interaction with the Dean, Prof Sunita Sengupta. I distinctly remember how on our first day at college, she was there at the campus before the students arrived, setting an example of discipline for all. She personally made it a point to interact with us to understand on our expectations and aspirations. She urged each one of us to write a thoughtful quote every morning on the whiteboard installed in every classroom at FMS. The thought motivates us to continuously strive for better results and scale new heights in our everyday endeavours.

Introducing - some of my crazy batchmates (4-5 profiles of interesting students in your batch)

Eshan Rampal: A football fanatic, Eshan is extremely passionate about football. He quit his job early at BCG and booked his flights just a day in advance to make it to the FIFA tournament in Russia.

Himanshu Makhija: Himanshu has 11 months of work experience in the health sector and is an active theatre artist. Having donned hats of actor and director at a commercial level, he is looking forward to opening his own academy soon.

Megha Gupta: Crazy about cars, Megha is a commerce graduate from the Sri Ram College of Commerce. She is the ideal model for those who think women cannot be good drivers.

Aditya Bhale: Amongst an army of engineers, Aditya, an M.A. in Tabla, truly exemplifies the diverse cohort we have at FMS. At such a young age, he has a football academy of his own where young kids who are extremely passionate about football are trained.

Dream ABG company:

I aspire to work for the retail arm of Aditya Birla Group. Aditya Birla Retail Limited has made its presence felt across the nation in a very short span of time in the form of ‘More’ supermarkets and hypermarkets. A one-stop shop for all consumer needs, I believe this will be an ideal opportunity for me to learn in the B2C market. Having previously worked in the B2B space for Microsoft Global Sales and Marketing, I wish to explore the consumer market and leverage my experience to make the operations more streamlined to ensure continued profitability for this arm of the business.
