When it comes to describing ones b-school campus, it’s always a unique one and so is mine - IIM Indore. Situated in the central part of India, atop a scenic hillock, away from noise and pollution of the city, a beautiful lush green campus and a world-class infrastructure ranging from state of art sports complex, residential, hostels, friendly paths for physically disabled, latest teaching aids, etc. IIM Indore campus has a booming diversity of students from different parts of the country belonging to the varied culture, academic background, industry experience, etc. With backgrounds ranging from Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medical, Law, Literature, Economics, work experience, etc., we explore wider perspectives and exposure to new thoughts during classroom discussion which adds to the immense overall learning experience. Not only are the students a cynosure but also are the faculties. IIM Indore has around 90 full-time faculties with considerable industry experience. Out of which 25 have already been deputed at Harvard Business School for Participant-Centred Learning Programme.

Every IIM offers various academic and executive programmes in management, but IIM Indore along with these courses has a unique one – IPM. The five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind in India. It is a unique and creative programme meant for young students who have just qualified class XII and wanted to become management professionals, change agents and societal leaders. With great diversity comes great festivities. The campus does not step back in celebrations even in the middle of busy academic schedules. With sheer enthusiasm and participation students celebrate festivals ranging from Lohri, Onam, Rajasthani feasts, Pongal to Halloween night, etc accompanied by regional feasts, brings additional charm and excitement to these festivals.

In the midst of frenetic and hectic schedule, the campus gives ample opportunity to pursue your personal interest and learn management through fun and learning activities. There are around 20 different activity and interest clubs/committees to enrich your hobbies, leaving you stress-free. Apart from Cultural festive, IIM Indore has its own variety of fests catering to sports (Udaan), marketing (Utsaha), cultural management(IRIS), Start-up ideas (i5 summit), etc. These events are not only fun loving but are also a platform to showcase classroom studies, networking and personality development, adding real-life experiences while studying at B-school.

Apart from the management subject, there is an adventurous and social subject being taught at this campus which teaches you social responsibilities along with excitement. With Rural Immersion Programme(RIP) of seven-day stay give an exposure to rural India. Students live the rural life and try to rectify the problems

faced by providing a fruitful solution to villagers, helping them live a better life by collaborating with collectors and various government officials about the issues, in such short span of time. While Himalayan Outbound Program (HOP) of fifteen-day is adventurous of its kind. The fifteen-day stay allows you to explore nature and stay fit along with management learnings like group building dynamics, networking, strategy, planning, etc while performing various tasks.

Which ABG company you want to work for and why? I would want to work for Aditya Birla Capital (ABFSG). With the strong passion for finance and past work experience in fintech industry, ABFSG motivates me the most. A strong presence across the life insurance, asset management, lending (excluding Housing), housing finance, equity & commodity broking, wealth management and distribution, online money management portal—Aditya Birla Money MyUniverse, general insurance advisory and private equity and health insurance businesses, ABFSG would be the place where I would get diverse set of experience across various financial divisions. I would truly enjoy exploring these fields and working with something for which I am passionate.
