After finishing a meeting with the esteemed government official discussing the future of imparting education, Dr. Subhajit Bhattacharyya, Director of IMT Ghaziabad spoke to InsideIIM on a busy weekday. In a candid one-on-one conversation, Dr. Bhattacharyya mentioned the varied steps that their institute is taking to make sure that the students can have a hybrid model of education. From admissions to the fresh batch, to the mode of education, student-teacher dynamics, and placements, Dr. Bhattacharyya talks about every aspect that is concerning the B-school aspirants in these uncertain times.

Being a part of the IMT family for more than 17 years, Dr. Bhattacharyya further talks about the pedagogy that IMT follows and how it creates the leaders of tomorrow by focusing on the holistic development of the students. He believes that the kind of education you receive from a physical space is very difficult to replicate the same in the online mode and thus is keen on going back to campus as soon as possible. But, in the same breath, he shows concern about the safety of the administrative staff and the students who would be joining the institute soon.
