“A Place is only as good as the people you know in it. It’s the people that make the place”
~Pittacus Lore
Located 20 Kilometers away from the city, a Jesuit institute with more than 30 years of legacy, built the first ever fully- digitized university in India (Xavier City), sprawling over 35 acres of land. With all its unique characteristics, the one which distinctly stands out amongst its rich cultural environment and the stark diversity it inculcates are THE People!
Being described as industrious and erudite, one of the most memorable classroom experiences for me was when one of our esteemed faculty, in Term 1, taught my material to a batch of 123 students, focusing on topics like organization size and culture. It was then that I realized that I tend to use all the information I had curated over the years and deliver it as a cocktail in the classroom.
I have always thought of myself as a wallflower or a misfit, and it took me a while, but I managed to find a few of my own:
Aditi – the multi-faceted one. Always up for an adventure, jiving with me on 70’s Bollywood songs, and whose uncanny sense of multi-tasking amazes me to no end.
Harshil – absolutely no-one can pull him away from his sweatshirt; even on the hottest of days. And come sun or rains, it will not stop him from distributing 60,000 sanitary pads in Bangalore, facilitated by his very own community organization – Let’s Spread Love.
Vibhor – the one who’s very popular with the fairer sex; which is quite an enigma to me, seeing how his mood varies with which ascendant the moon rises. A common love for our home, Delhi, is what keeps us glued together.
Divash – an army brat, whose room is on its way to be remodeled into a kitchen. Don’t be fooled though, cause all that he can whip up are boiled versions of things which should not be boiled.
Anudrutta – an anchor to most people around campus, but for me, he is someone I can brainstorm with for hours about anything under the sun. I compete with him and look up to him in equal measures, simply because of the sheer knowledge he holds in his arsenal.
With the changing world and the dynamic shift towards technology in every sphere, including human resources, a plausible best fit for me would be Aditya Birla Capital limited.
Other than being the largest financial services player in India, and open to creative solutions in the field of Talent Acquisition, Development, and Engagement, their vision is something that I practice every day – “Strive to be the best there is in my domain, with integrity!”

I describe myself as a jack of all trades and master of a few. I have always been an active learner with an eagerness to dip my feet into the pool of as many talents and skills as possible. I am particularly good at constructive communication. With a strong interest in the English Language, I have an affinity towards reading, public speaking and writing. I never shy away from public performance despite of being an introvert. I pride myself to be an emotional person. I believe that empathy is one of the key characteristics that sets me apart from the crowd. I am a planner as well as an implementer. I have taken up a lot of leadership positions throughout school and under graduation. While these roles have been tough, I realised I am quite comfortable in the role of a leader but am not eager to grab every leadership position. I strive to be as little judgemental as possible while trying to become a better listener every day. I have been an NCC cadet, a nukkad natak performer and a debater. With all these activities I have learned discipline, endurance and tenacity to perform the best.
