Friends are recipe to life, adding all the spices that is needed to survive the most grueling academic framework of IIM-R and creating the best moments of IIM Rohtak. MBA Life has given me an opportunity of interacting and living with people who are exclusive in their own ways. For the simplify sake let’s start by taking a group of Fantastic 4 (Me, X, Y, Z).
Mr X is man who can stress out easily at anything, and his main character can be seen during exam days when he won’t let you sleep until his “REVISON” get over so unless you’re helping him study, I suggest you to back off. Also, something small like a B on a test or an assignment can really upset him. One of his unique mode is of “counselor mode” that if he found any friends in a bad situation, He will start spouting motivational lectures out of nowhere. It’s pretty scary although.
Now coming to the second person, this guy is the complete free rider of our group and the excuses he gives are the most unique one, the only purpose of his life I feel is to GYM and Sleep. It is very tough to get anything out of him. But somehow, I have been able to do his part too that even helps me in working well with the assignments and academics. For me, it is a blessing in disguise because I spend time on understanding concepts and it helps hone my skills.
Moving on to the last Mr. Z, He is an artist through and through! In both his artwork and his writing. He is kind to others and I’ve seen in his other interactions on that he truly do care about other people and have a wonderful way of lifting people up
These are few of the people at IIM Rohtak that has made a lasting impression on me, At IIM Rohtak, we live the Kathor life not just because studies are rigorous but also because all of us push each other. Just like the world maintains a balance between good and evil.
As being from the region of Aravalli Hills of Rajasthan, whole of my childhood have been spent seeing huge chimneys, mines and manufacturing plants .Even this was one of the reason of doing BTech in Mechanical, so working in an Industries which is capital extensive is always been my dream, and if got chance would definitely love to work for Hindalco Industries Limited and can utilize my academic knowledge in management and technical learning along with practical experience I got by doing internship in Vedanta.
