While it has almost been a month at Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB), it seems like yesterday that I had stepped into the beautiful lush green campus of XUB. Far away from the noise and pollution of the Temple City, Bhubaneswar, stands upright the enticing buildings of Xavier University. The coal black roads lead one to the magnificent building of Administrative Block as one enters into the campus. The shiny walls of the building reflect you stating the motto of the university “Inspiring Future”.
The building displaying vernal green thick layer of grass and grandiose flowers freshen up the mood of every person passing by. A morning work nearby the building incorporates tremendous energy to work the entire day. The chirping of the birds further adds to the thresh hold of energy. As one moves past the administrative block witnessing splendiferous flowers between the roads, it feels to have got engulfed by the beauty of nature. The beautiful and evocative smell of soil after a short spell of rain reminds everyone of their origin. The administrative building is followed by a series of buildings like academic blocks and hostels. The high pillars of a small stage housed in one of the academic block surrounded by the grassy lawn reminds the artists that “Sky is the limit” and inspires them to give their best.
The next building is the home away from for all of us. After every tiring and hectic day at the college, our hostel rooms act as the recharging units for all of us. Every morning when we gear up for the day, the view from the windows of our hostel lets us feel the warmth of the sun rays and motivates us to use the day productively and stand there again at the dust to witness the sunset with a feeling of self-satisfaction in our hearts. The well-maintained playgrounds and courts attract each budding manager here to play hard, stay fit and stay healthy. Finally, a cup of coffee at everyone’s favorite, X-Cafe makes the day complete and prepares you for the next day.

Aditya Birla Group is a name that has its own charm. Being a multinational Conglomerate, it always strives hard to cater quality service to each of its customers. I would like to work in the Fashion and Retail department of Aditya Birla Group. This department demands the best efforts to stay competitive in the market. This competition can be further turned in the favor of the department by hiring the best talents in the market. Having being owned a start-up, I have come across various kind of people and have always had a strategic approach towards using the people not as a resource but as assets of an organization. My previous raw knowledge and experience from having my start-up along with the theoretical knowledge I am getting now from my college would make me a competent Human Resource Professional in the days to come, by which I Could contribute to the legacy of Aditya Birla Group.
