XIMB Placement Committee

It was 29th March, 2018 a usual working day. I reached office at 10:30 a.m. and started my work as per schedule. There was a status call at 11 a.m. followed by scrum call at 12 noon. By the time it ended, I was worn out. Then, I received the mail at 12:30 from the admissions office (XUB) confirming my admission to the BM program. I was left astounded on the spot. I am sure many of them would have had the same feeling realizing that they were to be a part of XIMB, a legacy of 30 years.

Many individuals’ affinity towards this institute is because of its faculty prowess, alumni connect and the mores of student-driven activities.

XIMB boasts of very highly qualified faculty which is an amalgamation of academic competence and industry experience. This blend ensures that no student goes out of here without being equipped with the required skill set.

The college shares an amazing bond with its alumni, who are placed high up in the business ladder. They provide the necessary guidance to the budding managers of XIMB to suit themselves with the current industry trends through workshops and alumni connect programs.

Coming to the life in campus, it is completely a student-driven. Right from the very beginning, the seniors start interacting with the upcoming batch guiding them through all the processes and ensuring everything is hassle-free. There are various committees that ensure no activity is missed whether it is any cultural event or organizing various competitions.

Which ABG company you want to work for?

Currently, 50% of Indian population is below 25 and the average age of India shall be 29 by 2020, meaning huge population about to enter the Indian workforce. With this, there would be ample growth opportunities in the insurance and housing finance.

So, I would like to work with the risk management team of Aditya Birla Capital limited (ABCL), a company that manages assets worth INR 2.46 trillion. A company that has an excellent work culture and encourages employee development keeping their work-life balance.
