The first day at this University started with the Security guard at the gate pointing his fingers towards my allotted residence. The first step inside and then, life hasn’t been the same. B-School has its own charm, but then what makes B-School have this charm of its own? The Campus? Yes maybe. But then what would it be without the people in it? Nothing isn’t it! Amidst all the people that I've met till now, there are are these four people who I ended up a meeting, who redefined to me what passion is. So here is an article dedicated to these four crazy batchmates!
Gaurav Singh: A boy from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh; Gaurav made my mouth gaped wide open when the first cultural event took place at the auditorium. Within two and a half minutes, he was successfully able to make the crowd of five hundred people laugh their guts out and in the concluding scene, even wet their eyes, all by himself. An Actor so good, he grabbed the attention of us all within those few minutes and won our hearts! What is so crazy about him? The way he is dedicated not only to act on stage but to convey a meaningful message to the society, of the society, for the society!
Prakhar Mishra: Coming from the City of Jalandhar, Prakhar seemed like the loverboy of the class with his looks and way of talking. But none of that was his USP. Yes, we got to know this when he decided to sing in front of all of us as a dare activity given by one of my classmates and since then, out outlook towards him has completely changed! A singer and composer, Prakhar redefined in front of all of us how crazy a person can be towards singing!
Sraddha Shukla: From day one at Class, we all used to make fun of Shraddha because of her lack of energy at class. If there would be any person sleeping on the last bench it would always be her. But then all of that changed once the sports tournament started and not only did she captain the teams, but ended up winning the Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton as well as Table Tennis Competitions!
Poorvi Verma: The Miss calm of our class, Poorvi took the stage by storm by her Dance moves within two minutes of her performance. For a person who hasn’t learnt dancing ever, she looked pretty professional in the eyes of the common. She composes her own dance moves whenever she gets time, even when she is in her room alone. Oh, and guess what? She even manages to do this at B-school amidst all the rigour! Yes, that crazy she is about Dance!!
Which ABG Company would you like to work for and why?
Looking at the way Peter England has grown, from being a company that makes fine khaki trousers for the British soldiers in 1889 to targeting INR 1600 Crore worth of Sales in the FY 2020-21, the Company has come a long way and according to me has even higher potential in the Indian market. With the price ranges of the garments set very affordable for the Middle-income group segment, Peter England can become the most talked about brand amongst Indian households redefining Indian fashion standards and that too at a price, which is worth every penny for the product!
