Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar is one of the premier b-schools situated in the heart of Odisha. With the legacy of more than 30 years, XIMB has a lot to nurture in you. When you walk through the entrance of the campus, you will feel the energetic waves bombarding through the lush green trees, standing tall on both sides of the road signifying the advent of a challenging life.
XIMB is an amalgamation of everything which you can expect from a B – School ranging from vigorous academics to India’s biggest management cultural fest – Xpressions. You name it and we have it. To facilitate the smoothness of every activity taking place in the campus, we have four core committees along with several functional and interest committees. All these are student driven which ensures the holistic development among the students of XIMB.
To talk of the infrastructure, XIMB has the most technology intensive campus all over the country. A vibrant intranet, rich set of software tools, air-conditioned classes equipped with audio-video system, three storied library and many more which proves a ground for grooming managerial talent. Apart from this, there is a well-built plan for everything whether it is inculcating a relationship between juniors and seniors through events like Viva or between students of each section through sports meet, group tasks etc.
Before joining the college I was in a dilemma and it took me the courage to take this utmost decision of my life. But now as I am here from past couple of days, I feel that the decision taken by me was worth and I will give my best hereon to get the most out of it.
Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?
If given a chance, I would like to join Aditya Birla Science and Technology Private Limited because I am from a science background and I have learnt that technical knowledge coupled with managerial skill gives a person an upper hand in the corporate world. So I think it is the area where I can show my technical as well as managerial acumen to achieve the best out of it.
