XUBALAND: Best Of Both Worlds

XAHR Placement Committee

XAHR has the perfect blend of scenic and academic attributes attached to it which allows us to get a taste of both the sides. A dynamic curriculum with ample opportunities to have fun creates a unique balance which helps us grow into our respective courses, stay sane and at peace.

Three weeks into the course we are still figuring out ways to balance academics and social life and managing our time judiciously. What catches my attention the most, every now and then, in between the classes and the activities, is the view of the sky here. It reflects so many different colors at various points of time during the day, that you just can't help but be amazed at the unique blend of colors. A mix of orange and pink at times, to shades of blue and grey, depicting intense emotions of nature. It sure does change our moods at times, for good and leaves us feeling all refreshed, like we can take the world on our own and all of that.

There is something very unprecedented that you see when you go to a balcony, preferably facing the other side of the campus on a windy night and all you see is widespread trees below, as far as eyes can see, a beautiful starry sky above you while gentle breeze caresses your face, giving you goosebumps. It takes away all the exhaustion, instantly pumps you up and leaves behind a blissful feeling. We do try to catch a glimpse of the mesmerizing night sky as and when we can, but on other occasions, when we have the time, we keep busy gorging to satiety at the cafes.

Since the onset of monsoon, the campus environment stays pleasant and the spells of rains blessing us every other day with serenity bring us all together. These multiple aspects are what makes the XAHR so unique and student friendly.

ABG Company I Would Like to Work For

I would like to work for the Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. Integration of personal interests with the company’s goals is a priority for me. Since I take a very keen interest in the field of fashion I would consider myself very lucky if I happen to get to work for ABFRL as an HR personnel. I like to observe the changing trends in brick-and-mortar, so I would track the attributes to look out for in the process of recruitment well, apart from contributing significantly in framing HR strategies to help the company adapt to changes in this dynamic industry.
