Amidst all the demonetization chaos, IIM Ranchi students had the honour of having an interactive session with Mr Parag Kulkarni. The Finance Club of IIM Ranchi organised a meet with Mr Parag who is the first and youngest Indian to complete CA exams from India, USA, England and Wales. He is an associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), a Charter Holder for CPA(USA), has also completed Diploma in IFR from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), London and IFRS Certification from ICAI.

The first year of MBA is for many B schoolers, a defining period in their academic life. It is here that they are exposed to a plethora of activities – academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular, and most students struggle to strike the right balance among the three. There is fierce competition, with at least 150-200 students actively working hard on academics.
Many of us would have heard of the best-selling book 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' , but only a few of us know about the cash flow quadrant theory, proposed by the author, Robert Kiyosaki. He divided the temperaments based on which people earn in life into 4 parts or quadrants. The four types are employees, self-employed, business owner and investor.
Think back to your interviews, think back to your organisations. Think back to your boyfriends, your clubs and your groups. At some point in your life till now, you must have received an answer, ‘We don’t think you would be a right fit for this place/organisation/my life…’
