And situated in the heart of South Bombay, or SoBo as we Mumbaikars call it, is a very modest but proud institute – Jamnalal Bajaj.
The Campus which might comprise of the only building, but carries memories of more than half a century. Our walls might have dusted over these years but every moment spent here are still very clear and fresh. This one year was extremely exciting, full of troughs and crests still moving. Every trough and crest brought a memory, few of them would always help me ahead in some or the other way, rest will just pass on giving me moments to relish.
Monday, at 7:00 am in the morning, I can hear birds chirping out of the window. I woke up and started searching for my cellphone, suddenly I recall that I lost it yesterday.
Both ‘IIM’ and ‘Visakhapatnam’ were equally important factors that led me to choose this institute over others. Coming to the first, I was as sure about wanting to study at an IIM as I was about perusing as MBA. Studying in an IIM is not only a privilege but also provides one with a plethora of opportunities in terms of experienced professors, rigorous curriculum and a meticulously chosen peer group. I am sure that these will definitely lead to great value addition in a short span of two years.
I choose to join IIM Visakhapatnam because it is the best option I have in my hand. Every MBA-aspirant dreams to be in an IIM so do I and getting a call from IIM Visakhapatnam is like a dream come true.
I look Master in Business Administration as a ladder to grow in my career. Business is always a combination of technology and good administration. In the same way, engineering with couple of year experience in technology and MBA will help me to become a effective business administrator.
The story behind my pathway to IIM Visakhapatnam revolves on one word: Persistence. Like many other management aspirants, my aim was to join an IIM, for the sheer brand value. I had constructed a vision of me graduating from an IIM for more than 3 years and I was not prepared to alter this vision.
