Selecting the right b-school. But, how do you do that and what are some of the factors you keep in mind while making the decision. We asked Dr. Monica Khanna, Director and Marketing Professor at K J Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai, and Dean – Faculty of Management Studies at the Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai who gave us a perspective on the management education offered at the institute and the prospects of students who decide to join the business school. A lot of freshers get their first taste of corporate life once they go through their summer internship experience in a B-school during their MBA.
One after the other startups are raising eyebrows through their IPOs in the current scenario. It is no longer necessary that a b-school student's dream company would be a legacy one. One such b-school graduate was Rangarajan, who did his MBA from SDA Bocconi and decided to start his career with a startup called AskMeBazar. There was no looking back ever since for Rangarajan who currently works as the AVP at Unacademy.
