I was in a marriage hall passing my time by greeting others and Whatsapping my friend and I got the notification I had two mail ids one is unofficial one which has all the accounts from Amazon to Netflix and the other one is I registered for the important ones and the only important one was about the admission of MBA college. I was in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh (divided and undivided) So I wished to join any college in the north so that I can learn Hindi and the culture over there and coming back to the marriage hall I got the notification saying “Congratulations you have been offered admission to postgraduate programme in  management Udaipur”. The first thing I was excited as dream came true and the first thing I did was to see how the campus in social media and Google photos the campus looked amazing with mountains and I worried the climate in Rajasthan I thought It will be very hot but after reaching the campus it was other way around as the climate is cool especially the monsoon rains is making the greenery greener and the view from the hostel rooms are also amazing. As a sports enthusiast I was searching for the grounds on the very first day it took me 2 hours to find where the football ground is but it was worth as the scenery around it is quite amazing and coming to academics I was exposed to on stage talking on the very first day the opportunity which I did not have that chance before though I was nervous I am improving I had around 10 opportunities before typing this and I am improving every time I got the chance. The life on the campus was very different than I had imagined before joining here, I learned more about time management in the very first week by doing presentations, attending orientations etc. We had team building sessions, design thinking decisions which taught me how to think systematically, how to network etc. I have learned a lot of things in the past two weeks in the campus. I am really enjoying the process as I can see how I am developing because of the immense opportunities we get at the campus and I wish to use the opportunities as much as I can in these 2 years and thank you ABG for giving me the opportunity to put my memories into words which I have gone through for past few days.

IIM Udaipur, a citadel located at the outskirts of Udaipur city. An educational stronghold of 500 gifted management graduates trying to conquer and overcome the regular attacks of assignments, presentation, and pre-reads. Students trying to get most of their “sleep”, which they have neglected since their childhood. The constant pressure to outperform everyone and lead the team boils down to one essential task of final placements. But amidst all this chaos, some students are outliers. They don’t follow the conventions and create their own league. Let’s talk about some of these crazy characters I have encountered in IIM Udaipur.
