This season we bring you the second part of our series “MYRAcles”. In this part we talk to the young talent at MYRA School of Business, Mysore and share some interesting experiences that they had at the school. This time we spoke to Anila Kumari, a second year student at MYRA about her B-School, Internship and lessons that she learnt during the course.
Gender diversity is a term referring to how different genders are represented in a relevant setting. Primarily, this term is often used to refer to females and males, though in some contexts and research the term may also refer to those who fall into non-binary categories of gender. The issue of gender representation on corporate boards of directors is one area where a need for greater gender diversity has been promoted. Employment in certain fields traditionally dominated by men, including computing, engineering, medicine, and women in science are other areas of study and interest.
Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large. For a product of acceptable quality, its success or failure is determined by the success of its marketing strategy. At MAC, we attempt to foster an environment where we can promote the creativity necessary for a successful marketing and advertising strategy with competitions and industry interactions which will help us, budding managers, to develop the right skill set, as well as provide a platform to showcase these skills.
With a vision to sensitize budding managers with environmental concerns, The Environment Club of IIM Trichy (enviro club) has been established to focus on three major areas - sustainability, energy efficiency and renewable energy. The Club is involved in a variety of programmes aimed at creating awareness in the above areas. Members of this club contribute by providing creative ideas on how to initiate and organize these programmes in line with the objectives as well as by participating in environmental activities such as planting trees. The club also extends its help to people with an inclination towards the renewable energy sector.

IIM Ranchi has grown leaps and bounds since its inception. We have learnt to leverage our strengths, and also to make the best of our limitations, while constantly improving them. Though the institute is only five years old, the speed with which it is growing is commendable The word “new" makes people sceptical whether to join a new IIM or not but after coming here, students have experienced transformational changes in their lives. Being part of an upcoming IIM has made the students work harder so as to bring the standards of both the institute and the students at par with the best business schools across the world. This is the speciality of the students of IIM Ranchi. We may not have our own campus right now, but these things have never stopped us from tapping our true potential. IIM Ranchi has excelled in so many international as well as national level competitions like Mahindra War Room, Axis Moves, Deloitte Maverick, etc. IIM Ranchi has sworn that it will not stop at any cost and that it will reach the heights that it has aimed for.
It’s been typical B-school day, hectic with lots of submission due at 23:59:59, already been 00:00:00 and our group decided to sit and brainstorm, of course with Lays and Cold drink, for our Business Communication presentation scheduled tomorrow morning. As usual we thought to use a digital channel for allocation of work for presentation but unfortunately our business communication professor has introduced the surprise element, the infamous elimination round, which forced all of us to go for the conventional undigitized format. Brainstorming helped us to list down various topics such as Entrepreneurship culture at IIM Raipur, Equinox 6, but we as a group narrowed it down and selected the topic Peer learning, Leadership and Teamwork at IIM Raipur.

He tries to guide aspirants by giving them an all round perspective right from getting into a b-school to summer internships to preparing for final interviews to entrepreneurship.
