Shivam Garg is one of the youngest prodigies at Planet-I who has done his engineering from IIT Roorkee. He was Delhi board topper with a whopping 98% and made a lot of other accomplishments that are commendable.
The phone rang a couple of rings before I answered it. It was Shristi at the other end. It was a hectic time with the final placements approaching soon. All of us were busy with resume submissions, regular classes and attending company presentations on campus. One could smell the stink of ruthless ambition among the 300 students vying for the top 100 jobs of Day Zero.
The picture above might have enticed you to open and read this article. Well, Placement deadlines always come with a warning sign of 'not to be played with' obviously with a reason attached to it. The much sought after Position of Responsibility(POR) at every B-School brings with itself a certain sense of authority and responsibility. Along with these things, it also has some perils associated with it. All I can say is 'Its not at all a cakewalk'

The final day of Ahvan 2013, the annual management festival began with an enlightening speech by Mr. D.K. Joshi, Chief Economist, CRISIL, who talked about the recent trends in the Indian economy and where it is headed in the global context. The chief-guest of the event was Mr. M.K. Gaind, DGM CBI.
