One month, and I have gone through almost all the human emotions possible - Joy, Sadness, Stress, Anger, Fear; you name it and it is there. But the output has been just splendid.

IFMR Graduate School of Business released the interim placement report for the 18th batch of 2017-19. The highest salary offered so far has been INR 14 Lacs per annum while the average salary is INR 9.5 lacs per annum. Last year the average CTC offered has been INR 8.3 lacs per annum. Incidentally, this is the 1st batch of outgoing students who are being awarded MBA degree from IFMR GSB, KREA University. Earlier, IFMR used to offer PGDM program.

Four days into the business school I realized that CAT prep is just one part of the story. The next two years will be a different ball game altogether.
After so many heart-wrenching year(s) of hard work, witnessing many failures, having been through an abundance of emotions in the last couple of months simultaneously, I have finally decided the college where I would love to spend the next two years to study and call it MBA. After I've come here, I have seen many students with the same amount of enthusiasm and the same hope with which I came.
My MBA Journey at IFMR-GSB began on the 17th of June 2019. Like every other student, I too was feeling a bit homesick but this feeling of anxiousness ceased to exist after an enthralling experience of Induction programme. Right from the induction programme itself, I was surprised to see such enormous diversity in the incoming batch of MBA in terms of gender, state of origin, educational background and work experience.
All of us have grown to study and cherishing the diversity that our country is blessed with. We all have heard the slogan “Unity in Diversity” at some point in our life. IFMR is no exception, it makes sure that the MBA program consists of students from every state.
If you want unity in diversity then IFMR GSB is the place to be. India is a land of varied culture and heritage, but I had only tasted that first it when I came here. The very fact that I feel I pull myself up from bed is the natural serenity and beauty of this place. It will be very small praise if I call this place mesmerizing. You can only understand it if you have the chance to be here. Above all mingling with new friends from different states and linguistic background of all parts of India and sharing our thoughts was the best experience so far in the MBA journey at IFMR.
