On the 71st Indian Independence Day celebration at SPJIMR, the message walk portrayed a coherent image of the biases and stereotypical mentality of the Indian society and its impact on individuals. The persistent question that arose in the fully-packed Auditorium at SPJIMR, was “Are we really free?” The message walk organised on the event of Independence Day 2017, was aimed at seeking answers to the unasked questions.
Ethics is knowing the difference between what you have a right to do and what is right to do. After reading the realities of country’s best b-school, I feel the story would be incomplete if I won’t share my experience. I am a student of an IIM. By this article, I would like to bring the dark side of recently conducted clubs’ and committees’ induction. I have confronted and analysed the process thoroughly for past one year, which makes me qualified enough to pen down my thoughts.

As I sit writing this piece in my hostel room at 2 am at night at SCMHRD, I can hear a buzz. My head is buzzing, the hostel is buzzing, the entire campus is buzzing. The summer internship season is here, or as one of my more wittier batchmates commented ironically - WINTER IS HERE! But more on that later, let us start from the beginning.
