How ABG affected me-IMT Ghaziabad
Part A: Aditya Birla Group has been a major contributor towards building my self confidence. I'm talking about a particular brand of ABG which is Van Heusen. Since my childhood, I've always had a inferiority complex about the way I carry myself. I always thought that others are better than me in the way they carry themselves. The incident I'm going to share about happened in 2016. That was the year that my elder sister got married. I, along with my family were out in a mall (DLF Mall of India, Noida) for the wedding shopping and we decided to enter a Van Heusen showroom. My mother was adamant to buy me a suit for the wedding but I was of the thought that suits do not look well on me. When we entered the showroom a salesman welcomed us with a big smile and was very friendly. After some reluctance, I started trying on some shirts as well as suits. While trying them on, I still was having that inferiority complex at the back of my mind. But, the salesman there, was really motivating me. He was constantly telling me that I was looking good in those suits and that they fit me really well. I don't know how, but that day, that inferiority complex started fading and I actually started becoming much more confident.

The Aditya Birla Group deals in a variety of products and services like agribusiness, carbon black, cement, E-Commerce, financing, mining, retail and many more. It is almost impossible for anyone to not have used any of their products in one lifetime. They are spread in so many sectors that we don't even realize how often we depend on them for our needs. Aditya Birla Group is the Indian licensee of the US Fast Fashion Brand, Forever21 which is one of the most liked and affordable brands especially for the young women today. Personally, it is one of my favourite brands. Pantaloons is a fashion retail store, owned by the Aditya Birla Group which deals in branded clothes of both menswear and womenswear. It is again another affordable and fashionable brand for all ages and offers a variety of clothes and footwear. For comfort and style together, I have always turned to Pantaloons which is one of my most liked brands today. Talking about formals, all I think about is Van Heusen which is again owned by the group. MBA has been a very important part of my life and in every interview, Van Heusen has been my confidence. UltraTech Cement, the largest cement company in India. It is also the largest manufacturer of white cement and ready-mix concrete (RMC) in India. When we think about cement, we think about UltraTech.

It is difficult to state the relation with Aditya Birla Group (ABG) in a piece of document. It is indeed an integral part of everyday life. ABG is the one responsible to serve ‘fresh rotis’ in my tiffin for so many years. The Freshwrapp from Hindalco Industries Ltd. Is serving for years to keep the food fresh and healthy. The rotis packed in the Freshwrapp remain fresh and soft – just like ‘Maa Ke Haath Ki Roti’. Apart from the use in packaging, the product is widely used in cooking and cleaning! Yes, you heard it right. The foil paper is used, and I have personally used, in making cheese garlic bread wrapped in Freshwrapp aluminum foil paper. And when cleaning silver articles and utensils, the aluminum foil is used to give an ever-lasting shine. The trick is to cover the ornaments in foil paper and put it in boiling soapy water which gives you shining silver ornaments just like new ones. The company serves more than 1.2 million customers per month, taking place in almost every household’s kitchen. The funny part is, my mother do not trust any other aluminum foil for that matter. Apart from food, ABG finds a place in the shelves of our wardrobe as well. Whether it be Diwali, Holi, Teej, Akshaya Tritiya, birthdays, anniversaries, or any event, the clothes come from Pantaloons Store. ABG’s UltraTech cement is indeed an Engineer’s choice. It is the most preferred brand of cement in my place. The trust my family members have in the products of the ABG group is unmatched.
