My Bond With ABG_Goa Institute Of Management
Aditya Birla Group, the name itself speaks for itself as it has impacted global markets in massive way.With the presence in 35 countries and with 120,000 employees worldwide it is attached to every common man as at some point in life.Similarly ABG has touched upon me through various brands like Vodafone,Louis Philippe,Peter England,Van Heusen,Fresh wrap. I have always bought my formals since I started working in a professional environment from Louis Philippe and Van Heusen. These are the brands that have always interested me and have been a part of life since along time. Even before joining Goa Institute Of Management my shopping list included Shirts from Van Heusen. Associating yourself with such big brands gives a feeling of hope and confidence. Further the Vodafone network has always played a vital role in my life to stay connected with my relatives and family. During my graduation from NIT Srinagar Vodafone was one network which i preferred in J & k.It also reminds me during floods in J & k how I managed to connect to our families when Vodafone restored the networks in such crucial times. Even today I use a vodafone number because of its services and network connectivity. Another memory that associates me to ABG is that of Fresh wrapp as my mother used too wrap my tiffin in school with the help of Fresh wrapp. We all are related to ABG in some other way as diverse prsence of ABG in varoius sectors .The Aditya Birla Group also indirectly impacts my life by taking measures to improve our society and country with the focus on sustainability . The Group is acting responsible towards its actions which will impact the future generations and has thus rightly taken Sustainability into account.Its CSR initiatives in Healthcare, Education, Livelihood, Infrastructure have helped societies to become better.
