When we step out to buy something from market there is a quite high probability that we end up buying some product provided by Aditya Birla Group. One sector in which Aditya Birla group has created an impact is clothing. The first store in Bhubaneswar to provide wide variety of clothing with the experience of mall is Pantaloons. Pantaloons changed the whole garments purchase experience in Bhubaneswar. Earlier people used to go to small stores to buy garments, as a result either they had to compromise in their choice or visit multiple stores to get a garment of their choice. With the opening of pantaloons, people got what they need at a single stop.

Traveling is something which I am sure many of us enjoy a lot. Whenever I am planning any trip within India, I prefer a location which is within the driving limit from my residence that is Delhi. I love driving as it gives a feeling which is comparable to none. When you are driving you feel a power that you are in control and you are the one who is in charge of this vehicle. I’d like to share a quote here “Don’t become too vested in reaching your destination that you miss all the fun that the journey beholds”.

Reminiscing the childhood days when my hometown ,Indore city got its first mall. Entire residents  of the city flooded the mall floor. As a child of 12 years age, seeing shops with shiny packaging and products in different assortments omnipresent everywhere was picturesque. I remember how me and my sister used to go gaga in the departmental stores. Filling up the trolley in Big Bazaar with all the food items and clothes till we get exhausted was our ultimate goal. We would then be asked to reduce some of the items,  which was difficult task,  given the leverage of childhood and the availability of multitude of grocery items. There were other shops available but the convinience and variety was still significant. More and easy day were opened in major areas of the city which made many things accessible and the onus of responsibility of purchasing monthly grocery gradually fell upon us. The purchasing process was easy even for a child. This is why I consider ABG to be big in my life. It taught me independent and reliant decision making right from the childhood.
