Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life ? How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far_IMI New Delhi

When we say “Aditya Birla”, it’s a brand that reminds me unparalleled path that we shared throughout my life. My journey with “Aditya Birla” started when my father took dealership of “Birla Plus” cement. We shared more like a family relation with this brand. At that point of time, cement industry was a growing industry with a small number of dealers who by the time further shared a family bonding for the upcoming days. I myself can recall some of my little friends to whom I used to meet in the family tours of the dealers. It was not just a formal dealership relation, rather the team of Aditya Birla made us feel and act like a family. I guess no one can ever forget his first experience in flight, or the first foreign trip! Yes! With this family I travelled to Nepal, Dubai which are one of the most cherished events of my life. By the time, I grew young from my childhood, this brand evolved itself to “Ultratech Cement” and yet introduced a larger family. Our family still shares an infrangible relation with this brand. Apart from such nostalgic childhood times, it is irrefutable to explain the brand equity that I unconsciously carry with my dressing! Yes, the Pantaloons! It’s the brand that more than 80% of time I come across. Whether be an occasion, or a casual shopping, I just roam around the store and it’s obvious to pick some dress. The amount of confidence I carry whenever I visit the store is that much, that I never used any online platform to explore the fashion realm. It was always so obvious that there is always something waiting for me in the store which will catch my eyes in seconds. The relation can’t be explained only through these words anyway, it’s more than these writing, more like an unconscious presence.

The group has interests in viscose staple fibre, metals, cement (largest in India), viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbon black, chemicals, fertilisers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services. Aditya Birla Group, in their 160 years of existence, have touched, and improved many lives through their products. Through Hindalco, they ventured to promote use of food preservation items such as aluminium foils. Through Grasim Industries, they manufactured the first of Independent India’s suits. Ultra Tech Cement, which boasts of being the market leader in India, has helped give countless Indians a place to call home. Brands like Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, People, and Peter England helped India on the path to become the world’s leading textile exporter, as it had been before colonization. Lastly, the product which has had a personal impact on my life: Vodafone Idea. With a staggering 39.5 crore subscribers, it is India’s largest service provider, and the third largest across the globe. I have used an Idea sim throughout the time I’ve owned a mobile phone. Even right now, it is a Vodafone Idea network that is assisting me in my research for this competition. That in itself is a testament to the success of this giant, market leading service provider. A lot of lives in this country are simpler, thanks to the efforts of Aditya Birla Group. India thanks you.
