Aditya Birla Group is one of the largest amalgamation corporation that holds more than 72 services and manufacturing business across the globe. In late 1870 before the Independence of India Seth Shiv Narayan Birla founder of Birla business launched a Cotton and Jute trading industry in the town of Pilani, in Rajasthan, India. Outcoming the difficulties under the rulership of British’s he struggled and managed to build his own empire and in 1919 they established their own jute mill. In the year of independence which is 1947, The Birla family installed their own weaving plant which is Grasim Weaving plant and later they started producing rayon.

The Memories we made!!!
You may not know that you have used them but you surely would have come across them one way or the other. Yes, I am talking about ABG products. The oldest memory that I have is of Freshwrapp. It reminds of the delicious food that my mother has given me for tiffin and wrapped it in Freshwrapp. A memory that will stay with me forever. My next memory was with an apparel brand of ABG. Four years back I started my first job and I was looking for formal-wear. I came across formals of the brand Van Heusen. I always thought Van Heusen only had menswear and that was when my myth was broken. I loved their formal-wear collection and immediately bought around four pairs of it. It made a memory for a new start in my life. Apparel reminds me of another favourite of mine which is Pantaloons. The memories it has made cannot be counted and is still making. You need apparel, walk into Pantaloons, it will never disappoint you with its collection, ambience at the store, offers and the loyalty program. You will surely find something good for yourself. A recent product that I came across was Liva. ABG entered fluid fashion with this product, making fashion friendly. The fabric is being soft and light is very comfortable to wear. The cherry on the cake is its hundred percent natural and eco-friendly. ABG has been a part of my life at various stages and in various ways. Thanks for the memories and I am sure there are many more to come!!!

Aditya Birla Group was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. Since then it has grown manifolds and has become India's third largest group with a revenue of 44 billion dollars. It has presence all over the world with interest in various industries ranging from cement, aluminium, copper to textile, fashion, telecom and financial services. Its presence is so large in one’s life that we can’t even imagine. It’s the hunger for innovation that has kept the conglomerate alive. The group has always acted as a motivator for me to innovate and do something different in life. The various brands under its kitty correctly stress on the importance of diversification and shows how dynamic leadership can create wonders. The group’s various fashion brands like Allen Solly, Peter England and Van Heusen have helped me in expressing myself and making my own identity. The brand Peter England has played a very important role in my life as it has motivated me throughout its journey from being a British Era uniform brand to being in the list of the top five brands for seven consecutive years. This helped me in learning the importance of persistent, consumer centric approach and changing with time. It’s only because of these reasons that this brand has survived over the years, whereas other brands which started at the same time are nowhere to be seen. It’s the hard work the employees belonging to the brand has put in and the able leadership of Mr. Birla that has helped the brand to be what it is today.
