Leaving behind a rented place and building a house of one’s own, a place where families make their most cherishable memories, is a dream for any middle-class family. This dream was what my father achieved by saving up every single penny by building a great place for his family to live in. After hiring a contractor, the first things he demanded were bricks and cement. Aditya Birla group’s Ultratech Cement Ltd. was our go-to place. It provided quality and economical cement in the required quantity every time we demanded which made the whole process a lot smoother and took us a lot closer to our dream of owning our own house.

It was of that time when Aditya Birla Group was establishing its space across various sectors, that time parents used to say that If there is the best company then its ABG. As my name is Aditya, I used to feel proud and motivated to establish one such company in the future. The impact of the brand did not stop there, it is still with me and will be forever. Indians grow up by considering that if the name of Birla is there then there will with richness, diversity, and quality. Since the beginning, the company has stood as a symbol of trust and quality. They are the leaders of every sector and industry they have stepped into. Aditya Birla Group has taken Indian products to the global marketplace and helped them to establish themselves. Birla Group has been of great importance in my life. ABG is not just a multinational conglomerate, it has been like an identity for me. Even my name is Aditya. My favorite jeans brand is Pantaloons. Garments at its showroom were excellent. Most of my clothes are from some of the other clothing brands of ABG. Good clothing gives me the confidence to face the real world. Apart from clothing and lifestyle, my family is using Vodaphone-idea as a network operator for our mobile which again is best in class. ABG plays an important role in our lives. The homes in which we live in is made of Ultra Tech cement from the Aditya Birla group. Thus the impact that ABG has in my life personally is huge.

Even after independence, when the country needed industrialisation, they opened businesses such as Grasim and Hindalco to make India self-sufficient. Since then a long time has passed and now Aditya Birla Group is India’s third largest conglomerate.

“BIRLA” is something which has a great impact in my life. I am from a small village in Bihar. In my village when some children used to express a very big dreams, elder used to told “BIRLA banna hai?” Are you going to be “BIRLA”? Birla was a household name. There are only few business houses which are known Pan India. Aditya Birla Group is one of them. As I grow up, whenever there was any ceremony like marriage in our house or in our relative places, my father used to gift people clothes of a brand name “GRASIM”. So, there used to be lot of Grasim clothes all around. My father loves to dress well. So, he used to tell me that when I will pass my 10th exam with good score he would buy me a shirt of Van Heusen and he did buy me a Van Heusen shirt and Van Heusen sports trouser. As the time passes our family size increases. We were 3 sisters and a brother. So, my father started constructing a new house and the cement that used to come for the construction was UltraTech Cement and he would often tell that the house will stand still for generations. At that age I was not aware that all this brand actually comes under the same umbrella of Aditya Birla Group. Yes, the same Birla whose name we were hearing since I was born. The brand which resonates the Indian minds ever since Independence. The group has grown leap and bound since its inception with its presence in 35 countries. Now, I have grown up and with my first salary I gifted my father a Louis Philippe shirt and he was in tears. Pantaloons has become my one stop shopping destination and Allen Solly, Louis Philippe, Van Heusen and People have become my Go-To brands. When I read about Aditya Birla Group, their 5 core values of Integrity, Commitment, Passion, Seamlessness and Speed defined to me what the brand stands for. It’s the commitment of the Aditya Birla Group to create value for each customer alike that makes Aditya Birla Group stand out for generations. Its their seamless adaptability with time that had made it relevant for years. Each moment the group touches the life of millions just like the rising sun in its logo.
