When you aren't a Blood Donor - TAPMI

When you aren't a Blood Donor - TAPMI

It's 2009. When you take any skill that a school kid would possess, and find who's performance is the average, you could easily find me in most cases. Sometimes, a little above average. The only thing that I had been consistently performing better was my academics. I had no idea of what I'm upto, rather did I find anything that drove me and so on. Owing to my bitter past experiences, public speaking was a nightmare.

Challenges : Struggle Today, Strength Tomorrow-TAPMI

Challenges : Struggle Today, Strength Tomorrow-TAPMI

Some great man rightly said, "Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors." From time to time we face smaller or bigger challenges in our life. It is our attitude towards those challenges that plays the most important part. I believe, life gives us challenges to make us stronger and to mould us, so that one day we could spread our wings and fly.

How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?- TAPMI

How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?- TAPMI

Being a student for major part of my life so far and having only two years of professional experience most of my achieved ambitions have been related to academics. One of the challenges I had was of stage fear, which held me back from voluntarily participating in any of the stage competitions held during school. It was thus my short-term goal to free myself from the clutches of this fear and express myself in front of an audience. To achieve this goal, I had taken few measures like- I practiced long speeches in-front of my parents, friends and other well-wishers, to overcome my nervousness while speaking in-front of an audience. Next step was to speak in-front of a mirror (as suggested by many) and lastly was to do a bit research on the topic I was going to speak or present to an audience. This helped me a lot as gaining some knowledge about the topic boosts one’s confidence and helps to express confidently in-front of an audience. From being a silent spectator to anchoring in college events the journey has been satisfactory and of great learnings.

Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life - TAPMI

My first job interview in a start-up, I wore a shirt from Peter England.  Aditya Birla Group has definitely been a big part of my life. From wearing clothes from Pantaloons to donning a Van Huesen and Allen Solly, from buying once in 6 months to buying something every month during my undergraduate college day from People, from using a landline to upgrading to mobile with an Vodafone - Idea sim, From buying groceries from Padmavati stores to buying it from More supermarket, from buying hot chips locally to having feasters, from connecting Birla mandir in Hyderabad to the Birla family and finding out it did have a connection, from observing my father, a civil engineer, building dreams with Ultratech Cement,  I grew up.

Do I still have some time? - TAPMI

Do I still have some time? - TAPMI

Einstein says time is relative. It is true in fact since we all have the same 24 hours in a day. But haven’t you noticed that some people seem to accomplish a lot within these 24 hours while other fall flat on their expectations. I like many other had fallen into the latter category of being unable to manage my time usefully.

How have I overcome challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far?

As it is said, our ability to handle life's challenges is a measure of our strength and character. Challenges are a part and parcel of life. A life without challenges will be too boring and uninspiring. Challenges test your resilience towards difficulties or unknown situations. They makes us wiser and improve our capabilities along with adding an experience to our life. The most important thing is to challenge ourselves to greater heights. Each challenge that we set for ourselves helps us to become better than earlier.

Confidence has a colour - TAPMI

Confidence has a colour - TAPMI

The date was November 17th, 2014. I woke up early, went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. The person in the mirror looked back at me with eyes of determination and confidence. This was the day that would define the start of my career. This was the day of my first job interview.
