Why is Aditya Birla Group big in my life?TAPMI The single most important thing to remember about any enterprise is that there are no results inside its walls.The result of a business is a satisfied client,This is not hyperbole when it comes to building a great brand and this is exactly what Aditya birla group has been doing for the past 162 years with its presence in 35 countries and the sectors dealing with viscose staple fibre, metals, cement, viscose filament yarn, branded apparel,carbon black, chemicals, fertilizers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services. It goes back to my engineering college days when the college organised a resher's party.I was accustomed to wearing jeans all my school life and the dress up theme for the party was a black dress.I browsed my way through all the inexpensive options I had .Every dress that I set my eye on overshot the budget of a student who lived on restricted pocket money.I was almost settling to a cheap option when a friend told me abut the pantaloons sale.The first instinct was to grab anything that fit the budget.I found a black dress that suited me just right.The flurry of emotions and feelings attached to the moment I wore my first dress and danced that night is still stuck along to this grown woman I have become today.It's all about about finding happiness in the little things ,for me that day pantaloons did just that,it continues to do so in Van Huesen blazers I donned in my interviews and looked delightfully polished. I had bought an Idea sim because of the cost efficient plans that suited my college needs.I would like to narrate an incident that happened.We were out on a college trip trek to Murbad for sky observation.I and my group of friends decided to take the unexplored route to the observatory point .We lost track of the trail and it was pitch dark and it was past midnight.We all tried to make calls but to our bad fortune the the mobile network was almost nil because of the altitude.We all were on the verge of panicking just when I realized my call went through.We spoke with the college authorities who guided us to the point.Idea saved our night or we would have been a bunch of college kids treading unknown territory.Aditya birla group products have become an indispensable part of my life be it Pantaloons,Van Heusen,Arrow,Forver21,fresh wrap and the list goes on.

Aditya Birla-A journey from child to AdultIf somebody Asks me what experience I have with Aditya Birla product in my life, My reply even in my sleep would be the same, i.e, SEISMIC.The Experience starting from the day,29th October 1994, when I was born and after getting discharged from the hospital, the first place I landed my foot was the property owned by Birla’s, not particularly Aditya Birla but his father B K Birla. My father has started his career as an officer in MANGALAM CEMENT LIMITED WHICH was set up by the famous BK Birla in 1993. After few years, He got transferred into ULTRA TECH CEMENT which was directly related to Aditya birla. Going in the school named Mangalam DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, named after Kumar Mangalam Birla, has given me the right values and culture that I am carrying today. I still remember, when I was in my school days,There was a canal in the middle way of my school and during the rainy season,and during heavy rainfall it was fixed that either we will be given a leave or sometime we have to remain in school for the night until the water level comes down and vehicle can move, This problem was solved by the ultra tech cement when they got to know the problem faced by the student and completed making a bridge on the canal in a very short span of time resulting into no more such occasions. One more instance that I remember under the CSR activities the company has decided to take care of the government school and also had given a large sum of amount for constructing a well-maintained government hospital for all the employees. Also, the Krishna temple in the campus was a must place to visit for every devotee.

I completed my graduation in 2015 and started working in one of the most renowned IT company. However, studying in a top B-school was my ambition in life but working towards it was a difficult task.

A roller coaster ride of a south Indian into a B-school. - TAPMI

                Technology is shaping the world and managers today need to be well versed with technology to stay ahead. I strongly believe that a leader who is passionate about technology and its application in management can help his or her firm in gaining sustainable competitive advantage. But for me to reach what I have dreamt off took a roller coaster ride to achieve it. I always aspired of doing my graduation from reputed college in the state or the country but I was unable to reach my goal in the first attempt after my plus two , so I had made a decision to take an extra year to achieve my goal, after that I was admitted into one of the top colleges in my state and I was among the top 2 percentile in the state level engineering entrance test.

Strength and growth comes only through continuous effort and struggle” says Napoleon Hill, American self-help writer who is known for his book ‘think and grow rich’ which is still Among the top ten, which has been my mantra of life ever since I got the ability to think and make decisions.

Out of cocoon but yet to fly. - TAPMI

I was always the target of my classmate and seniors to bully. Because of which, the most disturbing challenge in my life was myself. It was tough to make myself believe that I am worth to make an impact to this world. Fighting the way out of my own cocoon and fighting the way with my parent to let me move out of Asansol, my hometown to some city where I can have some quality education and a better exposure. After securing admission in Symbiosis, Pune for B.com, at once it felt like a big achievement. But the reality came to me hard, I realized that the battle has just began.  Although, I have done my schooling from an English medium school, there was a lot of English that I needed to learn. Thanks to my new friend who made me feel that I matter. I scaled up my English proficiency. But then it was not enough, I was yet to start socializing. Slowly and gradually, I made my way to improve my communication and to everyone’s heart. With all the love I gained the college elected for the responsibility of the head boy in my final year. I had already started making impacts. Later, secured the job in Deloitte and found that the opportunities do not come until you seek it. I used all the skills that I learned in Symbiosis to win people and learn the technicalities of the work. Soon, I was the point of contact of every team member and I am proud to say that even in the lowest level of my career, I was a non-designated manager. Today, when I look back, I see that I have come a long distance from being a nobody to a management student from a top B-School. My story inspires me to keep the graph of my progress rising at a much higher pace.
