I hail from a small town in Kerala. I did my initial phase of schooling i.e. till fourth standard in a local school and it was a malayalam medium school. Even though I learned to read, write and understand English, speaking was out of question. Then, I joined a reputed English medium school in my fifth standard. New uniform, new friends… I was more than excited to go to my new school. The first day of my fifth standard, my class teacher walks in to the class and announces that all students must speak only in English. All my happiness faded away the moment I heard this. A lot of new friends, but I can’t talk to them because I don’t know to speak in English. I started crying.

Aditya Birla group is a conglomerate which offers various products and services such as Branded apparels, Cement, Finance, Telecommunications and many more. It is highly unlikely for an individual (at least in India) not using Aditya Birla's product even once in lifetime.

The roots of the company dates back to pre-independence era when the founding father of the company established a cotton trading unit in Pilani district of Rajasthan. Challenges, I feel are subjective in life. There is no clear definition of what elements constitute a challenge and that is what makes everyone’s story unique. We all have a story irrespective of the walk of life that we come from, mine is one that transformed me in many ways to be the person that I am today.
