I Would've Cracked CAT In My 1st Attempt If I Knew One Crucial Thing | Ankit Gupta, 99%iler, IIM L

Ankit Gupta, gave the CAT Exam four times, and finally converted IIM Lucknow. Being a BITS Pilani graduate, CAT didn’t seem to be a difficult exam for him. He even scored 96.5%ile in his first attempt without any preparation. However, during his first 3 attempts, he realised he lacked a very important part that can fetch you a good percentile in CAT: mental preparedness. It was in his 3rd attempt when things went haywire. He had to deal with his father's alcoholism, a hectic work schedule, and CAT prep. Hence, he was not able to score a seat at the IIMs even in his 3rd attempt. That is when he decided to leave everything behind and start traveling. He gained a little perspective in life and decided to sit for CAT 2018, finally converting IIM Lucknow.
