After completing school, I had this urge to come out of the comfort of my home and learn to become independent. As I shifted from Kolkata in Eastern India to Bengaluru in Southern India, I noticed considerable change in the culture, language, eating habits and lifestyle of people around me. As this was my first stint away from the luxuries of my home, with time and considerable struggle, I adapted to this change and tried my best to get involved in this new community. The Indian diversity, in itself, is a great teacher and makes us realize that though we all are one, we have our own unique ways of living.

I have learnt that one stays happy only when one can truly say that, if today is my last day, I have no regrets about the way one has lived so far, and that will happen only if one strives hard to achieve all the ambitions and goals set in their life.
