When we were children, almost all of us wanted to grow fast and be teenagers fantasizing of the freedom one has in high school and college. But once we reach that level, we wanted even more independence and wanted to start working as soon as possible so that we don’t have to ask for money from our parents. These are the phases of life, I think everyone goes through and so did I.
I landed in Mumbai a month ago to pursue my MBA from NMIMS. It was not my first time here, but this city looked new; so much prettier with so much more to offer. One of the sites that caught my attention was the majestic Bandra Worli Sea Link. Was pleasantly surprised to know that the same Ultratech cement went into the construction of the sea link as the one used for building up my own home back in Kolkata. It gave me a certain sense of assurance and satisfaction that the same bond that helped bridge a seemingly impossible distance is holding my home strong.
CAT 2019, expected to be conducted on 24th November 2019, is now less than 5 months away. While many MBA aspirants have already begun their preparation months ago, a lot of IIM aspirants are beginning their preparation now. It is at this stage that very crucial questions can pop in your minds - is 5 months even enough to prepare? Should I take coaching? What should my month-wise preparation strategy be?
