Final Placements : IIM Indore - Class of 2013
The administration and students involved with placements at IIM Indore deserve a pat on the back for conducting a successful placement season in an extremely tough year. For a campus that is just 15 years old, IIM Indore is fast maturing as one of India's premier campuses for many top recruiters. 14 students were still to be placed when this report was published but considering the employment scenario and the struggle of many older and more accomplished schools (a few top schools still need to place many more students), managing to find career opportunities for over 400 students is an achievement.

Final Placements : FMS Delhi - Class of 2013
FMS Delhi completed a very successful final placement season. The performance can be termed very impressive given the economic scenario. It is also very balanced across sectors and domains. Banking & Finance has been a tough sector to get into but FMS has ensured plenty of Corporate Banking opportunities for its students in leading MNC banks. Sales & Marketing (especially FMCG) is very strong as usual. Over 1/3rd of students will work in the marketing function. The Boston Consulting Group added FMS to its list of campuses (Others are ISB, A,B,C,L,I and XLRI). ITC Ltd. recruited 11 graduates from FMS (i.e. 5% of the batch).

Final Placements : JBIMS Mumbai - Class of 2013 (Unverified Report)
JBIMS has never yielded to any of our requests for placement data in the past. We published an unverified report for the same batch 18 months back during summer placements here. It is the most sought after MBA school for CMAT takers and also has a rich history of producing CEOs for Corporate India (CEOs of ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever are JBIMS alumni). There are some companies that swear by JBIMS in the toughest of times. It is also the one of the best 'ROI after MBA' schools with a 2 year outlay of less than INR 1 Lakh (INR 100,000). We had to do an unverified report.

Final Placements : XLRI Jamshedpur - Class of 2013
First in our series of reports for this year. XLRI was one of the first schools to report completion of placements this year. XLRI registered 100% placement in this tough year. 63 PPOs would have helped. Over 25% of the batch was placed before the placements started and that would have made life considerably easy for the placement committee. Placements at Top Business Schools in India - Class of 2013 : The Real Story
We estimate that 6-8% of the students from across all the top business schools in India which are featured on this website will be left unplaced or will sign out of the placement process. The cut-off time we look at is the convocation ceremony season that begins this week and goes on till the 2nd/3rd week of April. We have arrived at this figure based on actual data from the ground. At least 4 Old IIMs had double-digit number of students still to be placed as on March 10, 2013 (PGP/PGDM). There is a top business school in South India with three-digit number of students still to be placed as on March 5, 2013. These are facts. Our estimate is based on actuals.
