Summer Placements : IIM Indore PGP at RAK UAE - Class of 2014
IIM Indore UAE Placements for Summer Internship for the Class of 2014. For a batch of 38 students, the opportunities below are decent and interesting. What caught our eye were the internships in policy and research. This isn't explored enough according to us. If the batch size remains small, we believe this programme is promising. Another aspect to attract recruiters is that 100% students are admitted to this programme on merit.

Final Placements : IIM Bangalore – Class of 2013
Tough times reveal a lot. IIM Bangalore's report on the career opportunities provided to its graduates shows us why certain brands are worth their weight in gold. IIM B is one such brand. Across sectors and domains, graduates have been provided ample opportunities. One of them is an opportunity to work in the Office of Mukesh Ambani as an executive assistant, chairman of India's most celebrated enterprise (Reliance Industries Ltd.- Strategic Services Unit). HCL Technologies participated with a unique initiative - Entrepreneur@Residence, under which candidates selected will work directly under Mr Shiv Nadar, Founder & Chairman, HCL. Premier private equity firm, the Blackstone Group (London) and consulting firms Greenwich and Roland Berger, hired exclusively from IIM Bangalore offering international locations. Despite the global slowdown, 21 students will start their careers abroad from the Class of 2013 at IIM Bangalore. Almost every company ranked in the top 5 in our Recruiter Rankings has visited IIM Bangalore (Morgan Stanley being the only exception). Any student graduating from IIM Bangalore who feels hard done by can only be termed 'ungrateful'. In any case, we at InsideIIM believe that no business school is obligated to provide jobs to its graduates.

Final Placements : IIM Indore - Class of 2013
The administration and students involved with placements at IIM Indore deserve a pat on the back for conducting a successful placement season in an extremely tough year. For a campus that is just 15 years old, IIM Indore is fast maturing as one of India's premier campuses for many top recruiters. 14 students were still to be placed when this report was published but considering the employment scenario and the struggle of many older and more accomplished schools (a few top schools still need to place many more students), managing to find career opportunities for over 400 students is an achievement.

Final Placements : FMS Delhi - Class of 2013
FMS Delhi completed a very successful final placement season. The performance can be termed very impressive given the economic scenario. It is also very balanced across sectors and domains. Banking & Finance has been a tough sector to get into but FMS has ensured plenty of Corporate Banking opportunities for its students in leading MNC banks. Sales & Marketing (especially FMCG) is very strong as usual. Over 1/3rd of students will work in the marketing function. The Boston Consulting Group added FMS to its list of campuses (Others are ISB, A,B,C,L,I and XLRI). ITC Ltd. recruited 11 graduates from FMS (i.e. 5% of the batch).

Final Placements : JBIMS Mumbai - Class of 2013 (Unverified Report)
JBIMS has never yielded to any of our requests for placement data in the past. We published an unverified report for the same batch 18 months back during summer placements here. It is the most sought after MBA school for CMAT takers and also has a rich history of producing CEOs for Corporate India (CEOs of ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever are JBIMS alumni). There are some companies that swear by JBIMS in the toughest of times. It is also the one of the best 'ROI after MBA' schools with a 2 year outlay of less than INR 1 Lakh (INR 100,000). We had to do an unverified report.
