How I Overcame Challenges In My Life - Dinesh Soma, NMIMS Mumbai

I was overwhelmed with joy when I got my offer letter from Accenture in 2017. This was my first job and that too immediately after completing my engineering. I was so enthusiastic to go and work there. We had a training for 2 months and after the training we were inducted to the project. I was the topper of my training batch and I was of the opinion that everything will be a cake walk for me. My first assignment was to implement SAP to one of the clients. We were a big team and everything was going so smooth. And withinno time 6 months passed and our implementation phase came to an end. After that, I got a new project and I was assigned with a new module in SAP. And my supervisor was so strict about completing the task on time. I was not given any training in this new module. I was deployed directly into that new project. And we did not have any team. I was the only member in that team. Then came my real challenge. It was like a race. I need to keep up to my supervisor’s expectations, complete the given assignments on time and then go to the room and prepare for my MBA entrance examinations. Because of the heavy work load, I thought of quitting the job may a times, but did not do until I got my MBA admission.

Aditya Birla Group has a presence spanning across industries and is a name recognized by many. But for me, my long-established contact with the group has been through its fashion retail group. In retrospect, ABFRL has been my go-to option for different things at different times. As a child, I remember shopping at Pantaloons with my parents. Years later, it is now a fond memory of family bonding. As I grew older and began shopping with friends instead of family, I can think of numerous hours spent at the Forever 21 in a nearby mall. Forever became our gateway to a world of inexpensive high street fashion. Recently my shopping experience came full circle when I decided to buy a shirt for my father with my first salary. Our shopping experience at Peter England was reminiscent of old times and is a testament of ABFRL catering to our each and every need. For me the group is big in my life simply because of the experiences associated with it.
