19th June 2017, the day when I came to the campus of IIM Udaipur. All through my journey, I was thinking about my future MBA life, campus etc. When I entered the campus the first day, my heart filled with joy just by looking at the beautiful campus. IIM Udaipur has the largest campus among all the IIMs which is situated amidst the Aravalli hills of Udaipur. Coming from a rural background, I had poor communication skills. I used to hesitate and stammer while interacting with people. I lacked self-confidence. But IIM Udaipur has given me an opportunity to develop my personality. It offered me a big platform to show my talent and to build skills. The academic rigour and various club/committee activities developed time management, leadership and presentation skills. By working in the different clubs, I learned teamwork. I am a member of the following clubs:-
- Silvertongues: - This is the Toastmasters Club of Indian Institute of Management Udaipur. It strives to build communication and leadership skills through weekly sessions designed by the Toastmasters International. This platform acts as an enabler to developing public speaking skills and complements management education. I joined this club in the first term, to better my communication skills. It helped me in getting rid of stage fear by giving multiple speeches. I was also certified as “Competent Leader” for completing all the roles.
- Technalytics: - This is the IT and Analytics club of IIM Udaipur, which is a common platform to discuss and gain knowledge about the trends in information technology and data analytics. It equips the students with the technological know-how of the industry and the implementation of analytical skills. Our club organises summit, workshops and events on analytics. To increase knowledge of other students, we send a weekly newsletter on IT and Analytics trends. Our club also shares concepts and applications of Analytics in different domains with IIMU community. Being a member of this club, I also built strong conceptual knowledge in analytics domain.
- IRIS: - This is the photography club of IIM Udaipur which captures the vibrancy of life at IIM Udaipur through photographs and videos. We organise various photography and video making competitions. During Audacity, the cultural festival of IIMU we organised a photo exhibition named as “Khushnuma”. We got huge participation from various other colleges. Being a member of this club, I honed my photography, designing and video making skills.

I would like to work in Aditya Birla Idea Payments Bank Limited because I have interest in banking sector. I have prior work experience in banking sector also.
