How about experiencing life being MBA student before your first day of b-school?
It was 12:38 am when I was talking to my parents in the hotel balcony about my student life which would begin the very next day and we got mail about assignment having three parts with strict instructions and deadlines. We were given three parts which covered three major aspects of management education. To carry out these assignments we were given one more task to search for our mentors- our roll seniors simulated to treasure hunt.
On 18 June, I completed my admission formalities, put on my management shoes and began my search for a mentor. It was full of thrill, fear and excitement. Our seniors prepared us beforehand for the hectic schedule that we will be part of. The assignments have taught us punctuality, bound us in good bond with our mentors, directed and redesigned our path ahead. Our assignments were evaluated and we were given feedbacks which guided us to embark on our journey with caution.
It was not an end but the beginning of amazing journey being XIMBee. It was on academic front but there was something on extracurriculars as well. It was competition among various residents of XIMB on weekend in five different events. This time one block is one team and we were preparing with our seniors to win the competition. This bonded us more closely with our block mates.
When seniors touched every important aspect, how come it is possible that sports are left. Yes, the next weekend was the sports meet. This was the competition among sections which lasted for three days with nine events in total. This built trust, connection and bond with our section mates.
It was unique, amazing and altogether a different level of experience that XIMB campus gave me. I'm feeling proud to be part of XIMB. I'm feeling like another home being 1800 kms away from my home. This all developed a strong foundation for a building to be constructed over.

I want to work with Aditya Birla Retail Limited. Aditya Birla Retail Limited is providing a large variety of highly branded and high-quality products to its customers. It is known widely for its motto “Quality 1 st ” along with sustainability efforts with the tagline “for our tomorrow”. I will use my skills that I have developed at my engineering along with managerial skills that I will hone in MBA at XIMB and learnings Aditya Birla Centre for Retail Excellence and Gyanodaya to make it foremost retail brand.
