IIM Udaipur is situated in a very picturesque and scenic location in hills of Balicha. When you wake up in morning and peek out of the window, it’s a sheer happiness. The campus has been awarded GRIHA’s 5 star LD rating. It is the highest level of rating for large developments. This award is provided for noticeable practices in energy management, waste management and water conservation. The campus has all basic facilities like Academic building, Auditorium, Bloomberg lab, hostels, library, mess, gym, ATM etc. After completion, there will be 5 lakes within the campus. The uniqueness of campus comes from its unique blend of students from different backgrounds in terms of education, work experience, representation of different regions of the country and other abilities.
The college has a very vibrant culture of student-driven activities run by 29 clubs/committees/ SIGs due to which college scores high not only in academic excellence but also extra- curricular activities. From the first day itself, students participate in various extra-curricular and professional activities. Every other day there is some event or guest lecture by some industry leader.
According to UT Dallas, College is rated 3rd among all Indian B-schools based on research published in global publications. Director Mr. Janat Shah has a very distinct and unique record of being an IIM director whose term has been repeated. In his direction, IIMU is able to break the image of being a new IIM and is ready to join the league of 1st generation IIMs. Industries are looking at IIMU in a new way and offering various important roles year after year.
IIM Udaipur has some very unique programs. One of them is Rural Immersion in which students work with NGO in some rural area. The considerable difference is visible in students after this experience as they get to know what are social and political realities in rural parts of India.
Apart from these, there are Student Exchange Program(STEP) and International Business Practises (IBP) programs to provide students with global experience.
For students interested in entrepreneurship, the college has a special Summer Entrepreneurship Program in which students are provided with financial support to work on their entrepreneurial aspirations. Apart from this, students can also avail placement holiday in which they can work on their entrepreneurial ideas and use campus placement at a later date within two years.

Which division of ABG would you like to work for and why?
I would like to work for Hindalco Industries Limited because I have already worked for it in the past. Having an experience of 47 months in the smelter, I have the first-hand experience of dynamics in the plant and the values it stands for. It will help me leverage my skills learned in the MBA program. As I have seen processes at ground level, I will be able to use that experience to take ground realities into consideration while taking management decisions. I joined as GET in greenfield location at Aditya Aluminium and was awarded PRIDE (Performance Recognition In Delivery Excellence) award.
