Even in the hectic and crazy as anything schedule of a B-School to have a 10 session course condensed into a 2 day marathon is not very common. And when you don’t even have an iota of an idea about the course it creates a strange feeling of excitement as well as nervousness. The course I am referring to here is the ‘Design Thinking Workshop’.
What unfolded before us a fun-filled day before us where we were involved in a myriad of interesting group activities. From coming up with fun names for our groups to finding creative solutions for specific problems we were engaged in a lot of activities.
We were assigned a live problem to work on where we had to design some creative solutions for a local player who was trying to set up a shopping store experience for the underprivileged people. We conducted a lot of interviews and had lengthy discussions to understand their perspectives and then tried to analyse our findings. The whole class was filled with an air of enthusiasm. Different research models were discussed and solutions were presented in the form of role plays. All the groups came up with their different perspectives towards the same problem statement which was a great learning experience for all of us.
The company that I would like to work for in Aditya Birla Group Idea Cellular. The telecom sector has seen great disruption in last couple of years and provides an exciting opportunity to work for. Idea Cellular would provide a great opportunity to work in a fast paced learning environment.
