IIM Indore has one of the finest campuses among the B-schools in India. The thing that differentiates IIM Indore from its peers is its unique curriculum. The curriculum has been designed in such a way that it provides participants with the fundamental conceptual knowledge, analytical skills and techniques, contextual understanding, environmental awareness and overall perspective.
In order to provide its students with a rich, practical and socially oriented approach to learning, IIM Indore has a course called Rural Immersion Programme (RIP), which aims to sensitize the budding managers and entrepreneurs of this Institute towards the various schemes undertaken by the government in villages and to study and analyze their execution and effectiveness. Spread over a week, across several districts in Madhya Pradesh, the program’s primary objective is providing insights on the various dimensions of district-level administration, focusing primarily on the policy administration and the execution gaps, while dispelling several stereotypes associated with the rural population at large.
Another innovative course is the Himalayan Outbound Programme (HOP), where students prepare to assume greater responsibility in life by joining the high ranks of the corporate world. The Himalayas give them the opportunity to reflect on the one and a half year spent in the Institute and the importance of this education in the future. The students go through multiple rounds of training, focusing on adventure sports and real-life challenges, designed to test their managerial and leadership skills. From rock-climbing, rappelling and river rafting, to yoga and pranayama, the Himalayan Outbound Programme offers a mix of physical and psychological experiential tasks for the students.
The presence of such amalgamation of unique courses helps in providing students with all-round exposure of management and real-life skills.

I am particularly attracted to the financial market, and through the various business lines, the company will provide me space to experiment and innovate in the field of my interest. With the global exposure and financial business learning under one roof, I will be exposed to the tenets of smarter money management. Besides, working for this company will help me enrich my knowledge base as I get exposed to the diversity of financial service offerings like mutual funds, term deposits, loans and insurances.
