What makes our campus unique?
Remember, the words of Konkana Sen from the Wake up Sid? The love she felt in with the Mumbai?
Believe me, you will fall in that same love if you spend two years of your life at IIM Udaipur. Surrounded by the mountains, the mesmerized new campus of IIM Udaipur is situated in Balicha, which is in the outer part of Udaipur. But still, I promise you that you will never feel that you are away from the city because the culture of IIMU and the bonding between the people make it a small city in itself. The nights are never empty here; people are always walking around, talking or studying. Socializing has come second nature, and that is a skill which has settled in which is good since I am an introvert. A personal aspect which I love is that in the night sky here usually are clear which lets me view the starry sky above - something which reminds me of home.
And an interesting fact of the mountains here is that you will find them of a different colour in different seasons. When I arrived here, they were of brownish-red colour, and now they are all green. Just imagine the view!
A typical day at IIM Udaipur for a very normal human (excluding the superhumans) is a plethora of new experiences. You get up in the morning at 8 AM, because hey, you need to have your breakfast to keep you going. You need to reach your classroom by 9 AM because even if you arrive at the door by 9:00:01, your precious attendance is gone.
Once you have settled in the class, be like Iron Man and become an expert of what you were supposed to master in 1 day, by investing only 15 minutes. Prepare your speech notes of presentations you have never even seen in 5 minutes. Don’t be surprised if you even have to go impromptu.
And now talking about the events, I promise you that every week you will find something happening somewhere in college. Be it the Potpourri quiz competition or the Karaoke or any festival; you will find people enjoying the moment with total enthusiasm.
According, to the Prof. Janat Shah, Director of IIMU, this Institute is an academically driven Institute. And also, learning here is fun because most of the work you have to do is you have to do in groups. So, you always find something new to learn from not only from faculties but your peer group as well (Thanks to the diversity!!).

I would like to work for Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL), as it is one of India’s largest financial services provider. By being the part of ABCL, I would get a chance to work on a wide range of money solutions for protecting, investing and financing its customers. The strong presence of ABCL in different areas of financial services will also provide me an opportunity to work in areas like life insurance, asset management, private equity, corporate lending, structured finance, project finance, general insurance broking, wealth management, equity, currency and commodity broking, online personal finance management, housing finance, pension fund management and health insurance business.
