In the hilly terrain of Aravalli’s sits the beautiful and mesmerizing campus of IIM, Udaipur. The soft sunshine, the daily drizzles of rain, the closeness of nature all makes my campus a unique, it’s the game of sun and clouds that lifts the campus mood to a different level. That tea on the cliff, that game of football on the field that is between two mountains it all makes it an experience to die for. Like Udaipur, the city of lakes, we have many beautiful lakes around the campus to just get out from the studies and enjoy what nature throws at us. The campus of hope, a hope of a new life, a hope of new learning, a hope for a new meaning to the life. Nature is where we always return to learn something new, to discover something new and this is where this beautiful life in IIMU starts in the lap of nature.
This nature has given a lot of new values one of them is mutual respect, the way we follow it is giving back to nature the respect it deserves. We have an eco-friendly campus in which we strictly follow policies such as the minimum use of plastic bags, no vehicles inside the campus and minimum use of electricity, the main focus of it all is making it a green campus.
The hills stand ancient- senile and archaic- a reminiscence of the solidarity that each student at the picturesque campus feels with respect to his/her fellow students. The state-of-the-art campus is truly an architectural marvel, in the bosom of plentiful natural sceneries, which offers the perfect blend of an environment that promises wholesome development of any individual that steps through the hallowed gates. Each corner of the campus is a potential hotspot of social activity, making even menial things feel refreshing.
Which company do you want to join in Aditya Birla Group? Why?
I want to join Idea cellular. As Idea is going through the merger with Vodafone India, it is going to become the largest cellular network in India. Currently, the telecom sector is presenting a challenging scenario in the sense of how the market is changing. I want to be an active part of this change and want to grow in my career by the learning I will get through this challenge. Idea is also one of the companies which are purely focused on high customer satisfaction and delivering high values, so it will be much greater learning for my personal and professional growth.
