For me the best Aditya Birla Group company to work for would be Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited which has multiple options for a guy who is interested in working with apparel brands.

Internships are the best way to get your foot in the door and gain some first-hand experience of the corporate world for people like me who never had an opportunity to work with a firm and instead opted to go for higher education right after completing graduation. Working for a well-established brand in their summer internships is a dream for many, but with the number of students applying for such brands, landing an internship at one is very rare. Thus, if you end up taking an internship at a startup, is not that bad either.
“Congratulations! You have been selected for BM Programme in XIMB 2018-2020 Batch.” For the first few seconds, I could not believe my eyes. I was left dumbstruck. Gradually I realized that all the hard work in the last ten months had not gone in vain. The thought of having cleared all the gruesome rounds of elimination to finally getting admitted into a reputed B-School made me realize that something worthy had been achieved. I had finally got admission into my dream college, and a new journey awaited me there. I had finally reached a new chapter of my life.
My first attempt at CAT did not fetch me a percentile decent enough to get into XIMB. XIMB was the only private Institute I had applied to.
I remember when I was in my undergraduate program at NIFT, Kolkata, I had visited XIMB campus, back to back two years as a guest college to participate in various events at Xpressions, one of the renowned cultural fests of Eastern India. At that time, I had no idea of the campus life or the kind of program that this college had to offer. This was back in 2012 and 2013, respectively.
When I first learnt, that we would be subjected to a two-day Design Thinking workshop, my immediate thought was, that like a true MBA school, our institute has decided to add yet another buzzword to their curriculum. Going in, I was expecting a professor as old as time, droning on and on about two HBR readings, three case studies and six journal pieces. (Okay, maybe some exaggeration there). Thankfully, Design Thinking turned out to be a rather, memorable and unique experience.
Indian Institute of Management, Indore or Planet-I is a completely unconventional campus. Be it the aesthetic academic block or the plush cricket field, the vibrant ‘Adda’ or the peaceful Sunset Point, you can feel nature at every nook and corner of this beautiful campus.
