Flora & Fauna Diversity In IIM Indore
I had often heard big quotes on diversity and how it is the spices of life. But I got the taste of it at IIM Indore. Often known as Planet-I, the campus is a habitat, an ecosystem, a planet, and a home in its own right! IIM Indore campus is home to over 1500 program participants and over 150 families of teaching, nonteaching staff. But this 200-acre campus is home to many more also – 50+ bird species, 7 snake-species, 100+ plants (ranging to medicinal, decorative, flowering, vegetables, fruits, wild, alien, and invasive), a family of foxes, hares, rabbits, mongoose, cats, bats, and many – many – many species of lizards, chameleons, crabs, butterflies, spiders, flies, moths, and other insects.

The Uniqueness Of XIMB
The campus of XIM, Bhubaneswar is unique in many ways than one. But the most important factor which is prominent is its unique appeal in how they develop the relationship between the 1st and the 2nd years from the very beginning i.e from the pre-interview days through their media and PR cell by assigning mentors. It not only helps the aspirants get a glimpse of the life inside XIMB but it also gives them a chance to revaluate their choices. Among the other things which makes XIMB unique is its numerous committees which cater to everyone’s choices from leaders, artists to bookworms. It also has a rich legacy of more than 30 years which is reflected in its experienced faculties and the way everything is handled by the administration. Another important aspect of this institute which makes it unique is its location right at the heart of the city. This location plays a very important role for the students who after a very hectic schedule throughout the day can use the very little leisure time they get, to refresh themselves from the numerous cafes that lie near this institute. Also, the environment in this institute helps students to develop the courage to be a part of every event and thus develop themselves as all-round individuals. The first glimpse of this can be seen in the very first event that the students get to experience after joining ie. The sports event. It not only gives the experienced ones a chance to showcase their talent, but it also provides the amateurs with a platform to learn about sports. Everything considered, XIMB is only an institute, it’s a unique platform to develop yourself within a short span of less than 2 years.

Batch Size Is A Strength Of Planet-I!
When I first received my offer letter, I was sceptical to join IIM Indore as I had other offers from other premium B-schools. But the lucrative IIM tag and proximity to my home landed me here. The first negative thing you listen about IIM Indore is its batch is too big and opportunities for various avenues get scarce. But on visiting campus I think it is a strength, not weakness. Because of such diversity, the amount of exposure and networking skills you receive is enormous. The scale at which many fests happened is amazing and the leadership and management skills you get for hosting such events is really helpful. The other thing which amazes you is the campus infrastructure and its serene beauty. I was awe-struck when I first visited campus. It took me around 2-3 hours to see the entire campus. The sunset point, titanic point and the beautiful hilly curvy road that welcomes you to the academic block is something to experience.

IIM Indore's Campus - Beauty In Its True Essence
This question keeps revolving around me since the day I got in IIM Indore. From that day onwards when I think and talk about my college, the scene runs in my mind is of Dome academic building standing with all pride giving everyone who looks at it the sense of prestigious feeling being the part of it. When I move around my campus I always fall in love with it, as being a nature lover this campus is all surrounded by greenery, beautiful flowers & attractive fauna which always catches my mind. I am a sport enthusiast and this campus has all the facilities available from swimming pool to cricket stadium which helps the overall development of a person because to be efficient in work your brain & body should coordinate with accuracy. IIM Indore has got the largest batch size among all the IIMs, therefore, the environment here show all the colours of India, people not only share their culture but learn a lot from others that unite the energy reflecting positives vibes everywhere. Anyone visiting here will never find this place out of people but always filled with people, therefore, one cannot feel lonely here because people are always there for you any time of the day. These qualities differentiate my campus from others and I would suggest every other person experience once in a lifetime a part of their life here.
